The Chrome Queen

Steampunk Fantasy Novel

First created in 2014 as a weird dystopian sci-fi novel, I created the character of the Chrome Queen. In my second year of Uni, I was inspired to reinvest myself in the character and thus the new world was created.

The novel follows the two princes of Vulaguar visiting the infamous high executioner who is known for saying one word, death.  It examines a world on the cusp of a revolution, with the political climate incredibly tense and the fear of what feels like an inevitable war.

The submitted the first five chapters of the novel for my dissertation and received high praise from my peers and tutor for its contents.

Unpublished Game

Unpublished dating simulator

The title is currently a secret due to it being a gift for a friend. In my spare time during lockdown, I've finally started scripting and making my first game. I've been using Tyranno builder to help ease myself into coding and I've used a lot of stock images and sprite creators to create the art.

It's taught me a lot about developing new scripting techniques and learning basic code and I'm so excited to display it here when it's done!

Oritava

Dungeons and Dragons Homebrew Setting

After my previous campaigns came to an end, I decided to revamp my first ever DnD world and rebrand it as Oritava, a fractured continent on the cusp of war. It takes place on a continent of extreme climates and many breaks into far realms and I've had a blast putting the lore of each nation, tribe and race into writing for my players. A spoiler-free overview can be found here and once the campaign has concluded I intend to publish each of the individual lore packages to the site.

Developing this world during the pandemic has kept me sane and ensured I kept up a lot of creative techniques  I learned in uni and further techniques I've developed by digesting the numerous resources available in the DnD community. It's a surreal narrative experience, with your audience reacting in real-time to the twists and hints at the lore and it's so fulfilling as an author.

I finally caved and started streaming on Twitch.

There's no grand plans for it, as its just an excuse to hang out with my friends and play videogames but I'm using it as great experience and practice at being on camera
