Upper second class degree (2.1)

Anyone that knew me from the age of eight would have guessed that English was the degree meant for me. I almost didn't do it but I am so glad that I have. The degree has improved my abilities beyond recognition, in both analysis and my writing style. I have I was able to study everything I wanted to during my degree, including a semester of Spanish which I enjoyed thoroughly.

Employment Advisor at Shaw Trust

After being made redundant from my last role, I took up the opportunity to work within the employment charity Shaw Trust and help those out of work at the moment to find sustainable employment. It's a challenging role, seeing me gain knowledge in sectors I never would have imagined but the reward of helping people get into employment is definitely worth it.

Greenlight Manager at Secret Mode

I have loved videogames my whole life. Getting into this industry was an absolute dream for me, so when I saw an administrator position in Secret Mode be posted I applied straight away.  In my short time here I've transformed that role into a Greenlight Manager position, where I oversee the review process for all inbound games that Secret Mode look at for publishing. 

Honestly, every day is amazing.

Whilst at Eurobase People took a post as a recruitment administrator and compliance manager and took on additional marketing duties including writing blogs, internal communications and training materials. A link to one of the published works is here https://bit.ly/3s4PhWT.

Recruitment Consultant at Adecco 

In the year I spent at Adecco I learnt an insane amount about the recruitment world but also strict processes and deadlines and being in an office environment. I managed the social media profiles and implemented new strategies to attract candidates to our branch.

Customer Service Assistant at J.S Sainsburys


In the five years, I worked in Sainsbury's I took on a supervisor position and was trusted to manage the entirety of my department. I am no stranger to leadership or tasks that involve heavy teamwork. I also organised charity fundraisers and implemented a newsletter whilst I was there.

Writer at Share My Cosplay

 

I have worked for the company for two years now and I have managed to interact with people all across the world on topics that I care about. I have been able to interview convention attendees and celebrities alike and it has been an eye-opening experience. I never thought I wanted to pursue a career in journalism and I have wanted  It has allowed me to combine my interest in cosplay with journalism and it has been a wonderful experience so far.
